The Ultimate Autumn / Winter Nymphing Kit

As the colder weather is now well and truly with us, the surface activity drastically reduces and to have any chance of a fish you're going to have to start fishing sub-surface - this means nymphing.

To get you started this year we have put together a unique nymphing kit. There's no need for any specialist equipment, just use the rod and reel you already have! Our Ultimate Kit includes of all the leaders and fly patterns you will need for success throughout the coming months.

Here's a run-down of what we've included:

1. A 10ft Specialist Nymphing Furled Leader

We have partnered with The Furled Leader Co to offer these exquisite "Hand Furled In Wiltshire" Nymphing Furled Leaders.

This 10ft Nymphing Furled Leader with Indicator Kit is designed specifically for targeting Autumn & Winter Grayling. Crafted to deliver a perfect blend of flexibility and strength, these furled leaders provide a smooth turnover for delicate presentations, while enhancing strike detection with the supplied vibrant indicator system.

This is the ideal furled leader for Nymph fishing. The turnover of these leaders has to be seen to be believed.

These are slightly different to any furled leaders you may have seen before, each furled leader kit includes:

• 10ft Fast Taper Furled Leader - Winter Grey Colour
• 6 + 1 Installed Hi-Viz Yellow Sight Indicators
• 4 - 6X Stroft GTM Tippet already installed (around 36"), making the overall leader length 12ft to 13ft

2. A Specialist Euro-Nymph Indicator Leader - from RIO

RIO'S Euro Nymph Leader is a uniquely designed tapered leader, and ideal for European nymphing techniques. 

The leader starts with 9' of chartreuse tapered nylon for visibility, which is then attached to 22" of RIO's 2X, two-tone Indicator Tippet material, for maximum visibility in all light conditions, to make subtle strike detection easier. The leader ends with a tippet ring, allowing anglers to attach their own tippet to match the water type and conditions.

3. A Specialist Set of Nymph Patterns

These nymphs are specifically chosen to give you the widest possible choice, no matter which river or stillwater conditions you face (big and heavy for the fast flows, small and light(ish) for the lower flows). These flies will work in any conditions and any style of fishing.
